Privacy and Code of Conduct

 

This web site has been created for the benefit of the members and friends of the Bayside Trailable Yacht Club (BTYC). The BTYC is an incorporated non-profit community group in the state of Victoria, Australia. The BTYC charter is to organize Cruise Sailing activities and outings for the enjoyment of its members.

The BTYC is not a yacht-racing club; it is a Trailer-able Yacht Cruising Club.  To become a full member of the BTYC you must be an owner of a Trailer-able Sailing Yacht (T.S.). You may also become an associate member of the BTYC if you do not own a T.S. but can show a genuine interest in Trailer-able Sailing Yachts.   You may apply to join the club on line by clicking  Here , or you may download the form at your leisure by clicking Here .

Information that you provide to the BTYC will not be disclosed to any third party. The BTYC however may use the information that you provide to enable it to communicate with you via your email address, and to enable interaction between members of the BTYC through this web site or amongst members by email. The BTYC however cannot be held liable in any way, shape or form for any loss, whether it is of a monetary value or identity loss, that may be caused by internet scams, spoofs, identity theft, hackers or other unauthorised and illegal activity.
