SOLD - Playmate - Ultimate 18 Yacht
Swing keel, pop-top model, built c1980. (See Photos Below)
Major refit undertaken in 2011/12: new sails (main, genoa, jib), new mainsail cover, new rope bags, new standing rigging, new rudder box, new outboard (see below), new spinnaker pole and fittings, new rear mast support pole (when towing), Autohelm fitted. Little sailing since then, so items still in top condition.
Equipment includes: 2011 5hp Mariner 2 stroke with high thrust prop, full pop-top cover with zip windows, door, insect screens, sun awning + boom tent for rainy days, 3 anchors, 27mg two way radio, bilge pump, log/depth gauge, compass, Autohelm AH800, solar panel, in date flares, 2 life jackets if wanted, metho stove, mooring lines, fenders.
The Easytow, tilting, galvanised trailer has never had its bearings / hubs under water and is in very good condition. It has heavy duty axle and springs, override brakes, 3 new light truck tyres and bearing buddies.
Much loved boat, fastidiously maintained and upgraded over the past 24 years by current owner. Boat stored under cover. Polished annually, the gleaming original gel coat is often mistaken for a much younger vessel.
