Mike Liles North Qld sailing on Zest:

Mike Liles was a long time founding member and Commodore of the Bayside Trailable Yacht Club.  Highly respected both as a sailor and a person of integrity, he sailed his self made yacht Zest on many adventures.  This video is proof of one of those adventures.  Sometime the quality of the older sections of the video is a little blurred, but watch on it is worth it  After watching the video please give it a thumbs up..

Melbourne City Marina:

Melbourne City Marina offers the largest number of visitor berths for casual short-term berthing at Docklands.
Located in the safe waters of Victoria Harbour, this value-for-money boating destination boasts modern on-shore facilities within a luxurious marina lounge. The marina is managed by the City of Melbourne.
Day visitors free for up to four hours.  Secure a berth for Short term stays by booking ahead.

Yaringa Boat Harbour:

Yaringa Boat Harbour, an hour's drive south east of Melbourne, is the perfect location for exploring the waters of Western Port and beyond. With nearly 600 boats on site Yaringa is one of the largest boat harbours in Australia. 

Services include floating marina berths, trailer boat storage, 35 tonne and 40 tonee straddle carrier with crane jib and an extensive boatyard.  Yaringa Boat harbour also has a large range of marine businesses including waterfront licenced restaurant.

Gippsland Ports Website:

Boating guides are available for Gippsland Lakes, Lake Tyers and Mallacoota Inlet, this is a good read before heading down to the lakes.

The SHSS is located in SanFrancisco and there are many interesting sailing articles to be found there.
